Dear Family and Friends,
We are at the
end of yet another year. We hope these holidays find you all well and happy! We
have had much happen this year and are happy to report that we all survived.
Our girls continue to amaze us! We are truly blessed because of our daughters!
Shaelyn has put her college education on hold
while she is serving an LDS Mission in the Chicago, Illinois area. She is
having wonderful experiences working with the Spanish
speaking people
of that area. She has been sharing her love for our Savior and growing stronger
spiritually as well as learning to love the Latin people and culture. She has
been serving since May and will return home this time next year.
Hailey is
in her second year at BYU. She is studying Wildlife and Wild Lands Conservation
and loves the classes that are part of her major. She is having some great
experiences with her roommates and friends that she has met at school. She is
learning to juggle the many demands for her time and doing well.
Morgan is a junior at Logan High and is
really enjoying life! She is part of a great group of friends and spends most
of her time with them when she is not at school. She still loves performing and
was in the musical that LHS just had, “Once Upon A Mattress.” She still loves
to cook and is always trying new things.
Eliza is in eighth grade and enjoying her
last year in middle school. She is a
true teenager and has a great group of friends. She plays percussion in her
school band and enjoys being able to play many different instruments.
Diane still
wonders where the “Stay at Home Mom” fits into her title. She seems to never be
home and loves the times that she is able to stay home. She is very much
enjoying her girls and loves to spend time with them and Nordell more than
anything.
Nordell is always busy doing something,
either at work or at home. He always has a project waiting for him. He has been
able to share his medical knowledge with other medical personal in some of the
South American countries. The Humanitarian group has been able to help many
learn the techniques for Neonatal Resuscitation and therefore saved many babies
lives.
We feel so
very blessed this year and are continually counting our many blessings! We love
our Savior and celebrate His birth this Christmas season. We wish you all the
happiest of holidays and the hope for a wonderful year to come.
